(If you cannot attend but wish to have your prayers added to the despacho prayer bundle, send payment of $10 along with names and/or specific prayers and requests…i.e. healing, abundance, peace, etc. and these will be included in the despacho bundle/fire ceremony and you/your loved one, will be energetically connected to this powerful healing ceremony!)

The Solstices and Equinoxes are a powerful time for re-aligning ourselves with creation, our purpose, our passion and our intentions on this earth walk. The Despacho is the central healing ceremony of the Andean shamanic path. We will be conducing an “Ayni Despacho” creating/restoring/maintaining “ayni” or balance/harmony/reciprocity with Pachamama (Mother Earth), the “Apus” or sacred mountains, and the heavens above, as well as within our being…and with our larger community. We will create a love offering filled with our prayers blown into “kintus” as we create a beautiful mandala filled with flowers, sweets, seeds, and symbols of our prayers.
Creating the Despacho
After the despacho is created, each participant will be cleansed with this sacred bundle before it is offered to Spirit in a fire ceremony…where our prayers are “dispatched” to Spirit. Shamans and indigineous elders believe these ceremonies are needed to maintain and/or restore order, harmony, abundance and blessings from the earth and Creator. Such a ceremony is an expression of gratitude, love and respect for all we receive from nature and Spirit and maintains “ayni” balance. As we offer Spirit our prayers and offerings, we seed the manifestation of the prayers we offer to the fire. I hope you will join me for the powerful night of ceremony and celebration!!

The energies of the New Year will be magnified by the Full Moon and a Partial Lunar Eclipse! Please bring a crystal or other stone or sacred item to be activated by a Mayan Intention Crystal recently blessed by Grand Elder Wandering Wolf and the Council of Mayan Elders.

As we step into the energies of the year 2010, what do we want to manifest? What is our intent for this year? What seeds are we planting for the Earth, humanity, our community, ourselves? We will co-create a ceremony to plant the seeds of our personal and collective future, working with the energies of the full moon and a powerful Mayan Intention Crystal. Our ceremony will include group and individual energy clearings, journeying for our highest intentions/soul’s purpose, activation of the Mayan Intention Crystal Energies and fire ceremony. I look forward to sharing this circle of powerful intention and empowerment with you!
